Special Public Hearing On 2007-2008 Budget Thursday, June 7, 2007

Notice is hereby given that a proposed budget has been submitted to the Board of Education of School District No. 1 in the City and County of Denver and State of Colorado for the ensuing fiscal year of July 1, 2007 to June 30, 2008; that said proposed budget has been filed in the Office of the Treasurer of said School District No. 1, 900 Grant Street, Denver, Colorado, where it is available for public inspection and can be viewed on the District's web site at budgetandfinance.dpsk12.org; that a public hearing upon said proposed budget will be held in the Board Room of the School Administration Building, 900 Grant Street, Denver, Colorado, on Thursday, June 7, 2007 at 6:00 p.m. and at such other times and places as the Board of Education may determine, at which time the suggestions or objections of any interested taxpayer of said School District No. 1 will be received and considered; and that the budget will be considered for adoption at the regular meeting of the Board of Education of said School District No. 1 to be held in the Board Room of the School Administration Building, 900 Grant Street, Denver, Colorado, on Thursday, June 21, 2007, at 5:00 p.m., subject to the Board's right to call an earlier special meeting for the purpose of adoption of the 2007-2008 budget.

Any person paying school taxes in said School District No. 1 may, at any time prior to final adoption of said budget, file or register his/her objections thereto.
