DPS Names New Chief Human Resources Officer
Denver Public Schools welcomes Carla Anthony as the district's new Chief Human Resources Officer, following an extensive nationwide search. She will serve on the Superintendent's cabinet, reporting to Chief Operating Officer Tom Boasberg.
Anthony brings significant depth in H.R., training, and organizational effectiveness. "We're fortunate to have found the level of expertise and enthusiasm Carla will bring to one of our most important departments in the school district," said Boasberg.
Anthony's career spans nearly 20 years and included principal H.R. positions with Rocky Mountain College of Art & Design, Encoda Systems, Inc., Titanium Metals Corporation, and National University. Most recently, she served as Director of Human Resources for Gambro, Inc., where she was responsible for compensation, benefits, and long-term incentive plans. Anthony holds a Master's degree in Business Administration from San Diego State University and an undergraduate degree from Kent State University.
