Palmer Elementary School's 26th Annual Celebration Of Cultures On Friday, May 4

For the 26th consecutive year, Palmer Elementary School will hold its annual Celebration of Cultures with performances at 2:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. on Friday, May 4. Under the skillful direction of Mary Louise Silva, veteran DPS teacher, Palmer's students will showcase the wonderfully diverse community of Palmer Elementary School. Representing the many languages and cultures of Palmer, the Celebration of Cultures performances will include Chinese and Japanese poetry recitation, Russian song, folk dancing from Denmark and special appearances by the Mestizo Dancers of Colorado and the Greenlee Highland Dancers and Pipers.

Mrs. Silva would especially like to thank the many Palmer staff and family members for donating so much time and energy to this year's celebration preparation. A very special "THANK YOU" to Principal Michael Crawford for his devotion to the Palmer School community. Our performances this year are dedicated to you, Mr. Crawford!
