Newlon Elementary School To Hold First Annual Community Night On Wednesday, April 25
Come experience the wonderful things going on at Newlon Elementary School! Join the Newlon Community to celebrate our 1st annual Newlon Community Night on Wednesday, April 25, from 5:00-8:00 p.m.
Newlon Community Night will be a fun-filled evening for the whole family. The centerpiece of the evening will be the 9 News Health Fair. Students, along with adult guidance, will coordinate health screenings and activities to teach their peers more about their health and the consequences of their choices.
Our teachers will also have student displays and interactive activities in their classrooms. Families will have the opportunity to make creative arts and crafts under the guidance of local professional artists. In addition, activities will include a caricature artist, an animal balloon artist, a book fair, 1st grade music program, art show, and a performance by Folklorico Dancers.
We are also honored to have a variety of community-based organizations to share information about their services and programs.
