Skinner Middle School Hosts Community Night On Wednesday, May 2
Skinner Middle School will host its 6th Annual "Community Night" from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 2nd. This is Skinner's second year as a revitalized school integrating arts across the curriculum, so we will have art displays throughout the building. There will also be performances by the Skinner Dance Team & Band ensembles. This evening will present an opportunity to visit with teachers and see their classrooms.
The following community based organizations and local artists are but a few of the groups that will also be on hand to inform and enlighten us about their services and activities:

What is your next step after Skinner? North High School will also be present with representatives from various programs and activities:
A North teacher will present Drawing, Painting & Jewelry. Other programs from North will include, Computer Magnet, Athletic Programs, Language & JROTC or visit with CEC and DPS Online High School representatives.
Other Skinner Highlights:
Skinner's own renowned artist and teacher Ms. DeAnza will have student art work on display. Teresa Quintana, our food services manager will also be on hand, with food samples of our school lunches and information about school nutrition. Student Clubs will be fundraising and our own parent organization Skinner Scorpion Activities Club (SSAC) will be selling Skinner Tees, sweatshirts & hats.
Join us, for a fun and informative night for ALL age groups. Refreshments will also be served.
