Denver Mayor John Hickenlooper Officially Proclaims March 15, 2007, Absolutely Incredible Kids Day
It is with great pleasure that I send warm greetings to all the children and youth within our community on Camp Fire USA's Absolutely Incredible Kid Day. I am delighted to join thousands of other adults throughout Denver and other Colorado communities in telling you how much you mean to us and how important you are to the life of our cities, state and country. Our community has much to celebrate today, YOU!
As Mayor, I want you to know that your City believes in you, supports you, and wants to make sure you have every opportunity to succeed and achieve your goals. You are the workforce of tomorrow, leaders of tomorrow, parents, of tomorrow, teachers of tomorrow, and Mayors of tomorrow. Our future rests with you in more ways than you can imagine.
Whether working hard in school, being a good friend, helping a neighbor in need, or creating a cleaner and safer environment, you bring hope and joy every day into the lives of our families, schools, neighborhoods and our community.
