Maria Mitchell "Explore Your World" Dance Performances And Art Gallery
All are invited to join the students, parents and staff of Maria Mitchell ECE-6 at our "Explore Your World" Dance Performance and Art Gallery. Kindergarten through 6th grade students will perform various dances from around the world, as well as show case their art work modeled after numerous cultures.
"For the past month, students have been learning so much about other cultures from around the world through dance, art and library. They are eager to show off their learning," said Dance and P.E. Teacher Tyler Crippen.
Day and evening performances will occur on Thursday, March 8th in the Mitchell Gym. K-2 students will perform for their fellow classmates at 9:00 a.m. and 2-6th students will perform for their peers at 1:30. The evening performance and gallery for the 2nd-6th graders will begin at 5:15 p.m.
