Celebrate "Dr. Seuss Day" At Maria Mitchell Elementary School On Thursday, March 15
Maria Mitchell ECE-6 students, parents, and staff will kick-off Spring Break by celebrating the life works of Dr. Seuss on Thursday, March 15 from 8:30-11:30 a.m. The classrooms, halls and cafeteria will be buzzing with students engaged in physical activities, arts, crafts and computer work as they navigate their way through numerous stations, all based on books written by Dr. Seuss.
The event will be the 3rd annual Dr. Seuss Day at Mitchell. Dr. Seuss's birthday is on March 2nd but the staff decided to wait to have their celebration once all CSAP tests were complete.
The purpose of the Dr. Seuss Day at Mitchell is to celebrate the joy Dr. Seuss brings us all, the joy of good books, the joy of physical activity, and the joy of working hard and completing CSAP.
Maria Mitchell is located at 1350 E. 33rd Avenue, Denver. For any questions please call Principal Jennifer Barton at 720-424-5442. See you on March 15!
