Denver Public Schools to Hold Community Meetings Across the District

Denver Public Schools to Hold Community Meetings Across the District Denver Public Schools is hosting a series of regional community meetings beginning on Monday, March 19th to engage the community in discussions around their vision and expectations for the schools in their neighborhood. The district will present information on school enrollment, performance data and other important concerns that affect DPS schools.

The community meetings will be held at eight DPS high schools, however the discussions will revolve around the education offered, K-12, and parents and community members with an interest in the education offered at the elementary, middle and K-8 schools in that region, are encouraged to attend. These meetings are open to the public. Refreshments, translation and childcare will be provided. Additional meetings will be scheduled in northwest and near northeast Denver to follow up meetings held in those communities last fall and earlier this year.
