Gilpin Jaguars To March In St. Patrick's Day Parade On Saturday, March 17
The Gilpin K-8 Jaguar Pride Drill Team will march in the St. Patrick's Day parade on Saturday, March 17. This year, the girls will be number 32 in the first segment of the parade. The Jaguars, under the direction of Joi Phillips Brewer, are carrying on the tradition of the Escoolite Drill Team, which operated in Five Points for over 40 years. Like the Escoolites, the Jaguars perform precision drill steps and promote personal and social excellence in its members.
