Open House At Columbian Elementary On Thursday February 15th And Friday February 16th
Columbian Elementary School, located in northwest Denver, has many valuable learning opportunities for our students and our families. Visit us and learn more about our diverse and exciting programs for ECE through 5th grade.
We offer half-day ECE programs for three and four year old students; as well as full day and half day kindergarten.
We provide rigorous instruction for all students, following the guidelines of the Denver Plan. Our second language learners make smooth transitions academically and socially. Students have regularly scheduled visual art, music, library and technology, and physical education classes. In addition, we provide numerous after-school programs that support the academics, the arts, and physical education.
Our Accelerated Reader program supplements reading instruction and encourages students to want to read more and more!
The Toyota Family Literacy Program (TFLP) is an important component at Columbian, as are our loyal families and community members. The TFLP provides ESL instruction for adults and many opportunities for the parents to work with their children in the classrooms and at home.
The teachers and staff at Columbian are committed to our kids. We hope you come visit Columbian at one of our Open House sessions, or any other time that is convenient for you.
