"A Journey Through Five Points" - Black History Month At The Denver School Of The Arts
Come celebrate the history of Five Points Denver with Denver School of the Arts' 3rd annual Black History Month Program. The first two years were a big success to both DSA and its surrounding communities. If you missed the 2005 or 2006 shows, you don't want to miss this one.
"A Journey Through Five Points" will take place both Friday and Saturday February 16th and 17th. The Friday performance will kick off with a barbeque dinner supported by DSA and local Denver restaurants. Friday's admission will be $10($5 for Dinner and $5 for the Show) and while Saturday's night will be $5. Both evenings will be filled with acting, hip hop, art, gospel music, narrations, swing dancing, jazz, barbeque food and everything else that has added to the history of Five Points. Both performances will begin at 7 p.m. in the Schomp Theatre at DSA, which is located at 7111 Montview Blvd. Denver 80220.
