DSA "Take Me Away" Concerts To Feature Rhapsody In Blue, Jazz And Silent Auction Thursday And Friday, December 14 And 15
The Denver School of the Arts bands department presents Take Me Away - a 2 night musical presentation that will culminate in a Silent Auction. On Thursday, December 14th the DSA Percussion Ensemble and the award-winning Jazz Workshop Orchestra will be featured in concert. The following evening, Friday December 15th, the DSA Concert Band and Wind Ensemble will present the musical journey ending with Gershwin's Rhapsody In Blue.
A Silent Auction will accompany the festivities on Friday night, the proceeds of which going to support the bands department. Tickets are $5 and are available through the DSA box office 720-424-1713. DSA is located 7111 Montview Boulevard.
