Christian Moore To Visit Smith Renaissance Elementary School Friday, December 15
Christian Moore, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and the founder and CEO of the Why Try Organization, is coming to Smith Renaissance Elementary School on December 15 to train teachers and staff in the Why Try intervention.
Why Try is a research based intervention that helps students achieve opportunity, freedom, and self-respect. This intervention offers an answer to the question "Why Try in Life?" Why Try provides youth with the hope that they can overcome poverty, violence, and failure. It provides professionals with the tools for reaching at-risk students and improving outcomes.
