Williams Sisters To Visit Manual High School For Pep Rally With Hundreds Of DPS Students

WHAT: The third annual McDonald's Williams Sisters Tour opens in Denver, Colorado Thursday, November 30 with a tennis exhibition match between international tennis superstars Venus and Serena Williams. In addition, the event will feature a celebrity musical performance by teen pop singing sensation Sammie.

The Tour, which will also make stops in New Orleans on December 5 and Charlotte on December 7, takes place as part of McDonald's annual World Children's Day™ fundraising activities, which benefits Ronald McDonald House Charities and other children's causes. The McDonald's Williams Sisters Tour is produced by IMG.

The following times are when the Williams Sisters will be available for media interviews and photo opportunities in Denver:

10:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Ronald McDonald House 1300 E. 21st Ave. - Denver, CO 80205 The Williams sisters will be stopping at the Denver Ronald McDonald House where they will tour the House, play with children staying there and meet with news media.

12:30 - 1:30 p.m. Pep Rally at Manual High School 1700 E 28th Ave. - Denver, CO 80205 This event will feature a question and answer session with 1000 kids from Denver Public Schools and autograph and photo opportunities.

7:30 - 10:00 p.m. McDonald's Williams Sisters Tour Exhibition Tennis Match at Broomfield Event Center 11450 Broomfield Lane - Broomfield, CO 80020 This event will begin with a musical performance by teen pop singing sensation Sammie and will be followed by an exhibition match with tennis superstars Venus and Serena Williams.
