Steele Elementary School Writers Published
Congratulations to Oliver Leckenby and former Steele Stallion Keenan Williams for having their stories published in Ralph Fletcher's newest book, Boy Writers: Reclaiming Their Voices. The stories were submitted by the students' teacher, Catherine Forington. Oliver's story, The Majestic Moose, features Mr. Rat, a cruel teacher who gets his comeuppance from a rampaging moose. Keenan's story, The Barrel-Man, is a humorous adventure tale about the Denver Broncos' biggest fan. A copy of the book will be available in the Steele library in the near future.
