Tutors Needed For New "Saturday School" At Westerly Creek Campus In Stapleton
Volunteers are needed for a new "Saturday School" tutoring program to assist students in grades 4-7 at the William Roberts School on the Westerly Creek Campus. The volunteers will be joined in the effort by about a half dozen teachers from the campus.
There will be two, six-week sessions, the first to begin on Nov. 18 and continue through the end of the fall semester; the second session will start in early January and run through mid-February.
Approximately 20 volunteers are needed for each six-week session to tutor for approximately one hour between 9 a.m. and noon in mathematics, reading or writing. Tutors can volunteer for more than one subject. Each session will be held at the Roberts building, Montview and Central Park boulevards.
