Congratulations To Jennifer Bailey On Being Named The Colorado Association Bilingual Education ESL Teacher Of The Year 2006
According to Principal Khoa Nguyen, Jennifer Bailey demonstrates an exceptional mastery of professional skills. She works enthusiastically with students and families from twenty different countries. At Ellis Elementary School, Jennifer is extremely valuable in providing back-up support for other teachers and she strives for the achievement of excellence by maximizing the personal strengths of all her students.
Ms. Bailey believes that all people have the potential to excel if they have the tools and knowledge to access the world of information. She understands that there are many, many different learning styles and if a student does not understand something one way, she challenges herself to find a method that will work.
Ms. Bailey will be recognized at the CABE Conference Third Annual Collaboration with Colorado Department of Education on October 5-7, 2006 at the Radisson Hotel Denver Southwest.
