2006 Exemplary Para-Educator Of The Year
Ellis Elementary School's staff is proud to announce that Mrs. Donna Scherer has been selected by the School Para-Educator Association of Colorado (SPEAC) as the 2006 Exemplary Para-Educator of the year. Mrs. Scherer has been working as a Para-Educator with the Special Education Adaptive Functional program at Ellis Elementary School for almost six years.
Mrs. Scherer makes a difference in the lives of many students at Ellis on a daily basis. Principal Nguyen said: Donna is totally committed to her students and excels in building teams for success.
Donna Scherer will be honored by SPEAC on October 14, 2006 at 8:15 a.m. at the Doubletree Hotel, Denver Tech Center.
