Each year, Forest City Enterprises (FCE) employees donate resources and time as part of their Community Day. FCE Community Day is Friday, June 9, 2006, 9:00 - 4:00 p.m.

Forest City Enterprises, and their team of contractors, are donating all material that will meet DPS standards and specifications for irrigation, sod, and tree planting.

Forest City Enterprises contacted DPS with the idea to provide the students at Ashley Elementary School a multipurpose play field for the students as part of their Community Day. This project is expected to be completed June 9, 2006, and at that time, DPS will assume full responsibility of maintenance. All DPS educational and construction standards will be met. Forest City Enterprises, Mortensen Construction, and CTM Landscaping have all volunteered to donate time and services to this project. In addition, many vendors and subcontractors have committed to donate labor and materials. Estimated amount of this donated project is $32,000.
