Colorado Preschool Program Seeks Early Care And Education Providers For 3- And 4-Year-Olds
The Denver Colorado Preschool and Kindergarten Program (CPKP) Advisory Council announces the availability of a Request for Proposal/Application process.
The Colorado Preschool and Kindergarten Program (CPKP) is a fourteen-year-old early care and education program for at-risk 3 and 4 year old children funded through state legislated dollars.
The Denver CPKP Advisory Council will be offering a RFP for a limited number of CPKP slots for the 2006-2007 school year. The CPKP dollars attached to these slots will be utilized by licensed private (for-profit and non-profit) child care providers to deliver comprehensive early care and education services to families with at-risk children ages three and four by October 1.

Completed applications will be due to the Early Education office on June 1, 2006 (unless a time extension has been requested and approved by the Director of the Early Education Office) and decisions/awards will be made in July for the fall class of 2006.
