Silent Auction Benefiting Educational Outreach Program Friday, April 7
The first annual Denver Public Schools "Helping Art" silent auction, benefiting the district's Educational Outreach Program, will be held from 6 - 9 p.m. Friday, April 7 at the Fox St. House. The Educational Outreach Program works with and supports students whose families are experiencing homelessness.
Students from Gilpin K-8 School will contribute one piece of their choice to the auction. Paintings by Dave Stout, Josh Theisen and Jon Wilson also will be auctioned. The works include classic pastel landscapes, contemporary oil pieces and many others. Jessica Theisen, a local jewelry maker, also is donating handmade jewelry and a hair salon package and acupuncture package will be available for bid.
A $10 entrance fee includes drinks and appetizers.
