Denver History Day Is Saturday, April 8
Denver Public School's Denver History Day event, a national competition open to grades 6-12, will be held Saturday, April 8 at Hamilton Middle School.
Denver History Day provides students with an exciting way to learn about historical issues, ideas, people and events. Students pick a topic based on the annual theme, conduct in-depth and balanced research and develop a documentary, exhibit, performance or historical paper for entry. Top entries from the Denver competition advance to the Colorado History Day Saturday, April 29 at the University of Colorado. The theme for 2005-2006 is "Taking a Stand in History: People, Ideas and Events."
