Denver School Of The Arts 3rd Annual Renaissance Festival Is Sunday, May 7
Denver School of the Arts students will travel back in time for the 3rd Annual Renaissance Festival from 2 - 6 p.m. Sunday, May 7 at the school.
Students will be transforming themselves as they reenact scenes from Shakespeare. Come hungry and get ye old turkey legs, burgers, hotdogs, tarts and more. Have fun at ye old cakewalk, put your friends in the stocks or dance around the maypole. All ye lovely maids can get your henna tattoos. Lads will line up for their likeness from a caricaturist. There will be crafts and games for the little folk and jesters and music to entertain. The traditional "giving of the chocolate bars" will once again be provided for your sweet tooth and awards and prizes to those deemed worthy.
This event is free and open to the community but food tickets may be purchased separately.
