Honors For Denver School Of The Arts Video Cinema Program
The Denver School of the Arts Video Cinema Program is the recipient of two recent honors.
The movie "Mile High Primos," created by Joshua Gonzales, was selected as one of the My City Now videos for inclusion at the 2006 Reel Rasquache Film Festival high school student filmmakers' showcase. The festival is Saturday, May 6 at California State University in Los Angeles. For more information on the festival, visit www.calstatela.edu/dept/reelrasquache.
In addition, the Video Cinema Arts Program will also present movies at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, May 16 at the Apple Store in the Cherry Creek Shopping Center. Students will showcase their movie projects and discuss how they created their work.
