Colorado Destination Imagination Tournament Is Saturday, April 29
Destination Imagination is the creative problem-solving program offered by Denver Public Schools and the University of Denver that encourages divergent thinking, creative problem solving and teamwork. The statewide tournament of this colorful and exciting event will be held from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, April 29 at the University of Denver's Gates Field House, Ricks Center, Sturm Hall, Newman Center, Driscoll Center and Magness Arena in the Ritchie Center. Denver Public Schools will send 25 teams to compete in five different events. The teams are:

1st Place - McMeen Awesmazing Bubblecious Dynamic Jaunty Kaliuper Marvelous Sphere Shooters, McMeen Elementary
2nd Place - Right Back At You Stars, Most Precious Blood School; S4H2I, Steele Elementary (tie)
3rd Place - Destination Imagination Agency, Colorado Academy; The Satellite Geeks, Bromwell Elementary (tie)

1st Place - Happy Room Academy, Place Middle School
