Colfax Elementary School Author's Tea Is Friday, April 28
Colfax Elementary School will host an Author's Tea on Friday, April 28 from 8:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. Parents are invited to visit the rooms of their children and read their children's work and work of other students. Refreshments will be served.
Among the readers will be first-grade students Thalia Santander and Areeon Frilet and their book, "Adventures in Purple Land," which won first place in a "Battle of the Books" contest.
Students in all grades will share published pieces and work from their Writers' Notebooks.
Early Childhood Education and kindergarten classrooms will host parents from 8:30 - 9:15 a.m.; first and second-grade classrooms from 9:15 - 10:00 a.m.; third grade classrooms from 10:30 - 11:15 a.m.; a combined third and fourth-grade classroom and the fourth grade classroom from 1:00 - 1:45 p.m. and fifth grade classroom from 1:45 - 2:30 p.m.
