Fairmont Dual Language Immersion Academy Students Join Great American Cleanup Friday, April 21
Fairmont Dual Language Immersion Academy students will join the city of Denver in celebrating the Great American Cleanup on Friday, April 21.
Students will participate in various classroom activities studying the effects of pollution, waste and litter on the environment. While in the library, students will be working on a "webquest" that explores environmental issues as well as listening to a reading of "Wartville Wizard." The day's events will include a neighborhood clean up effort.
Parents and volunteers are invited to join classrooms as they set out with gloves and garbage bags to help clean up our neighborhood. The activities begin at 9 a.m. and will run throughout the day.
