School Musical And 1,000 Paper Cranes To Celebrate Earth Day At Montclair School Of Academics & Enrichment
On Thursday, April 20 from 5:30 - 7 p.m., students at Montclair School of Academics & Enrichment will perform the musical "Assignment Earth" in celebration of the arts and Earth Day. The voices of 300 students will fill the auditorium and eco-art will line the hallways.
Inspired by the story, "Sadako and the Thousand Paper Cranes" by Eleanor Coerr, students, parents and teachers have folded 1,000 origami cranes. This special art exhibit has been created in recognition of the school's Earth Day theme - "Peace for our Earth."
