Steele Elementary School's 9th Annual East Washington Park/South Country Club House Tour Is Saturday, May 13
Steele Elementary School's 9th annual East Washington Park/South country club house tour will be held from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. on Saturday, May 13.
Five philanthropic homeowners in the East Washington Park neighborhood have agreed to open their spectacular homes to the public in an effort to raise money for Steele Elementary School. Proceeds from the house tour will be used to fund additional teachers in the classroom, field trips, buy classroom supplies and support enrichment programs at the school.
In addition, 5 percent of the money raised will be donated to the Denver Public Schools Educational Outreach Program, an organization dedicated to help homeless students with expenses such as medical care, clothes, transportation and school supplies.
In addition to the home tour, the event will include an art display provided by students from the school, a plant sale and a barbecue.
Tickets for the tour are $15 in advance or $20 the day of the event. Tickets may be purchased at Steele Elementary School, 320 Marion Parkway; Coldwell Banker, 101 University Blvd. Suite 100; or First Bank of Cherry Creek, East 1st Ave. and St. Paul St.
