Archuleta Elementary School's Second Grade Classes Will Present "In The Pages Of A Book," A Celebration Of Music And Literacy, Tuesday, March 21
The second grade classes at Archuleta Elementary School will present "In The Pages Of A Book," a celebration of music and literacy, at 6 p.m. Tuesday, March 21 in the school's gym.
This musical performance will celebrate how music and literacy are interrelated and work together. Some of the songs will be childhood favorites such as, "Hickory Dickory Dock" and "Baa, Baa Black Sheep." There will be a performance of a well known Dr. Seuss story in commemoration of Dr. Seuss' birthday this month. Individual classes will also be performing songs that their classroom teachers have taught them during their literacy blocks.
