Bus Driver Applicants Needed
The Denver Public Schools Transportation Training Department currently is seeking candidates for school bus drivers.
The bus driver position includes guaranteed hours Monday through Friday (5.5 hours minimum per day), $12.99 per hour with pay increases every six months for the first two years and paid training. Shifts are 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., although hours may vary.
Applicants must have a high school diploma or graduate equivalency degree. They must be 21 years of age or older, hold a valid Colorado drivers' license, and have no more than two moving violations within the last three years.
Applicants are invited to visit the Hilltop Terminal at 2915 W. 7th Ave. (West 7th Ave. and Federal Blvd.) from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday. Applicants also may call 720-423-4631 or obtain an application online at transportation.dpsk12.org/Training/application.htm.
