Nominations Accepted Through Monday, March 13 For 21st Annual Asian Education Advisory Council (AEAC) Awards To Honor Students, Teachers, Administrators, Parents/Guardians, Paraprofessionals And Community Volunteers

Nominations are being accepted through Monday, March 13 for the 21st annual Asian Education Advisory Council (AEAC) Awards. Honorees will be recognized at a program from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Sunday, May 7 at the Four Points by Sheraton (6363 Hampden Ave.).

Recognizing primarily students from all grade levels for their outstanding academic achievement and leadership qualities, the AEAC Awards also honors teachers, administrators, parents/guardians, paraprofessionals and community volunteers who have made outstanding contributions to Denver Public Schools students. In addition, scholarships ranging from $100 to $500 are awarded to students demonstrating academic excellence.

Nomination forms must be received by Monday, March 13 and are available at http://communityrelations.dpsk12.org/stories/storyReader$67.

Established in 1985 by the Denver Public Schools, the Asian Education Advisory Council (AEAC) seeks to improve educational opportunities and to provide quality education for all students, particularly students of Asian/Pacific Island Heritage.
