Board Of Education Audit And Finance Committee Meeting Agenda - Friday, Jan. 6
The Denver Board of Education Audit and Finance Committee will hold a special meeting at 4 p.m. Friday, Jan. 6 at the administration building, 900 Grant St., Room 706.
Members of the Finance and Audit Committee will take action on four district contracts that will be subject to ratification by the entire Board at its next regular meeting (5 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 19).
Tentative committee meeting agenda items include:
- Motion to approve the purchase of elementary art materials from Davis Publications.
- Motion to approve the purchase of elementary music materials from MacMillan McGraw-Hill.
- Motion to award construction contracts to Brown Schrepferman & Co. for school remodeling projects at Crofton, Polaris at Ebert and Stedman elementary schools; Harrington and Mitchell K-8 schools; and Morey Middle School.
- Motion to award construction contracts to Turner Construction Company for school remodeling projects at Asbury, Ellis, Knight Fundamental Academy and Lincoln elementary schools; Slavens K-8 School; and Merrill Middle School.
All actions of the Audit and Finance Committee are subject to ratification of the full Board of Education at its next regular meeting (5 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 19).
