Lowry Elementary School Students Partner With Missoula Children's Theater To Present "The Frog Prince" On Saturday, Jan. 14
Students at Lowry Elementary School and the Missoula Children's Theater from Montana will present two performances of "The Frog Prince" on Saturday, Jan. 14 in the Lowry Elementary School auditorium. Performances are at 2 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.
"The Frog Prince" is a fairy tale best known through a story by the Brothers Grimm. In the tale, a spoiled princess reluctantly befriends a frog, who magically transforms into a handsome prince.
Students auditioned on Monday, Jan. 9 and have been rehearsing every day after school. Auditions were open to Lowry students in kindergarten through fifth grade.
The Missoula Children's Theater is a non-profit organization that takes original, musical theatre productions on the road to nearly 1,100 communities around the world every year. This experience is provided to Lowry students by the Lowry PTO.
