Board Of Education Meetings This Week
The Board of Education will hold a Legislative Committee meeting on Wednesday, Jan. 11 and a work session and special meeting beginning at 4:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 12.
The Board of Education Legislative Committee will meet from 12:15 to 1:45 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 11 at the district's administration building, 900 Grant St., Room 706.
The 4:30 p.m. work session agenda for Jan. 12 includes:
- Review Board meeting agenda for Thursday, Jan. 19 (highlights of the tentative agenda include Board action on the pupil assignment plans at the new Montbello Village Place and Green Valley Ranch Picadilly K-8 schools and the 2006-2007 traditional school year calendar)
- Update on "The Denver Plan"
- 2006 legislative process
- Budget discussion
- Closed executive session (legal)
The 6:45 p.m. special meeting includes a discussion and possible action on the proposed settlement agreement for lawsuit brought by former North High School employees.
