Lowry Elementary School Celebrates International Day Wednesday, Dec. 7

Lowry Elementary School students will spend their school day learning about countries and cultures around the world on Wednesday, Dec. 7 during the school's international day celebration.

Students will tour the school's classrooms that will be decorated with multinational and multicultural visual displays.

An Americana musical and literary performance, sponsored by Community Resources, Inc., will be presented by Pat Mendoza.

Lowry Elementary School music teacher Ms. Sandy Lezotte and the school's fourth graders will present a musical performance that features song, dance and instrumentals.

Families and the community are invited to join in the festivities as well. That evening, the school's decorated classrooms will be open for viewing and the fourth-grade students will perform at 6 and 7 p.m.

Community Resources, Inc. is a non-profit organization that has worked with Denver Public Schools for 30 years providing support to the district through several programs.
