Denver School Of The Arts Will Present "Bye Bye Birdie" Dec. 6-8
The Theatre Department of Denver School of the Arts (DSA) will present its eighth grade theatre class performing the full-scale '50s Elvis style rock-n-roll show Bye Bye Birdie Tuesday through Thursday, Dec. 6-8.
The show starts at 7 p.m. each night in the Schomp Auditorium. Tickets are $10 for adults and $7 for students and seniors.
Bye Bye Birdie is a musical that was written by Edward Padula and premiered in 1960. The storyline is about an all-American girl that wins a good-bye kiss on the Ed Sullivan show from a teen heart-throb right before he goes off to war, causing much chaos in her normal life.
Denver School of the Arts is located at 7111 Montview Blvd.
