Denver School Of The Arts To Be Featured On Radio Program Tonight (Tuesday, Nov. 22)
From 7 to 8 p.m. tonight (Tuesday, Nov. 22) the Denver School of the Arts Jazz Workshop Orchestra will be featured on the "Collegiate Series" on KUVO radio, 89.3 FM. The series focuses on successful high school and college jazz programs in the Denver area.
The DSA Jazz Workshop Orchestra was hailed as Best Big Band and Best Jazz Studio Orchestra in the 2005 Downbeat Student Music Awards. It also has been selected to perform at the Essentially Ellington High School Competition and Festival at New York's famed Lincoln Center in 1999 and in 2004.
