Students At Godsman Elementary School Will Be Released This Afternoon (Nov. 21) Only To Parents
Godsman Elementary School, 2120 W. Arkansas Ave., remains on lockdown this afternoon following an incident in the school parking lot. Students who did not leave school at the normal release, 2:30 p.m., are being released only to parents and are not being allowed to walk home by themselves. The incident happened shortly after 2:30 p.m.
Shots were fired in the school parking lot in a situation between adults that is not related to the school. Nobody was injured. Police are searching for a teal-colored Ford Thunderbird.
