Columbian Elementary School Hosts Family Literacy Night At Barnes And Noble On Tuesday, Oct. 25
Columbian Elementary School families and their guests are invited to attend Family Literacy Night from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 25 at the Barnes and Nobel located at 14347 W. Colfax Ave.
A percentage of all sales made that evening will be donated to Columbian Elementary School. The funds will be used to support the school's library and media center.
Between 5 and 6 p.m. teachers and students will provide entertainment including readers' theaters, poetry readings and shared readings to music. Guests have been invited to wear their Halloween costumes and participate in a "parade" around the store. Columbian Elementary School will provide refreshments, and a prize drawing will be held.
Transportation will be provided for guests. Buses are scheduled to leave Columbian Elementary School at 4:45 p.m. and are scheduled to depart Barnes and Noble at 6:45 p.m.
