Lowry Elementary School Art On Display At Lowry Town Center This Month
Lowry Elementary School's student art is on display at two different places during September - Fergie's Frozen Custard and at the Glory Days event at Lowry Town Center. Featured artwork includes colorful portraits in watercolor and pencil and posters of the school mascot, the eagle.
Fergie's Frozen Custard at Lowry Town Center will display artwork all month, 200 Quebec St. Building 600, Suite 117. The hours are 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Student artwork also will be showcased from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 10 and 11 during the Glory Days at Lowry Town Center. Visual arts teacher Gary Bloom invites the public to work with him on a community mosaic bench at the Community Art Tent (2nd Ave. and Quebec St).
Lowry Elementary School is located at 8001 E. Cedar Ave. The school offers Early Childhood Education through fifth grade education to a diverse population with special classes in the visual arts, music, dance, physical education and library. The number is 303-340-0179.
