Fair Trade Banana Grower Speaks About Farm Life In Ecuador To Academia Ana Marie Sandoval Students Oct. 3
In celebration of fair trade month (October), a banana grower from Ecuador will speak to 100 Academia Ana Marie Sandoval students about his farm and life in his country at 1:15 p.m. Monday, Oct. 3.
The presentation will be followed by an ice cream party sponsored by Wild Oats Markets.
Fair trade is a trading partnership that seeks greater equity in international trade. It contributes to sustainable development by offering better trading conditions to, and securing the rights of, marginalized producers and workers.
