Denver Citywide Marching Band To Perform At Colorado State Fair This Weekend
The Denver Citywide Marching Band will perform at the Colorado State Fair at noon on Saturday, Aug. 27 at the fairgrounds in Pueblo, 1001 Beulah Ave. The band includes more than 200 students from Denver's 12 high schools.
The parade of marching bands begins at noon at the Pepsi Stage in Family Park at the fairgrounds. Adult admission into the state fair is $7, with children six and under free. For more information about the Colorado State Fair, access www.coloradostatefair.com or call 719-561-8484.
The Denver Citywide Marching Band was formed by students, teachers and parents of the Denver community in 1980. The band has traveled and performed throughout the country at events like the Liberty Bowl, Copper Bowl, and even the Rose Parade, which has been seen by over five hundred million people in over 90 countries.
