Emily Griffith Opportunity School Graduation Friday, June 10
Students Jennifer Candelaria and Cesar Valdez top the list of 189 students who will receive high school diplomas or GEDs from Emily Griffith Opportunity School at 10 a.m. Friday, June 10 at the Colorado Convention Center in downtown Denver. In addition, over 150 students took career education courses at Emily Griffith Opportunity School during their coursework.
Candelaria and Valdez were chosen as the outstanding graduates in a vote of the faculty. In addition, Gabrielle Campos earned the Metropolitan Mayors and Commissioners Youth Award Scholarship and plans to attend Metro State College in the fall.
The graduation ceremony will be held in the Colorado Convention Center Ballrooms 1, 2 and 3.
