Colorado Preschool Program Seeks Early Care And Education Providers For 3- And 4-Year-Olds

The Denver Colorado Preschool Program (CPP) Advisory Council has issued a request for proposals (RFP) seeking a limited number of additional providers for the 2005-2006 school year.

The program is a 13-year-old early care and education program funded through state-legislated dollars for at-risk 3- and 4-year-old children.

The RFP seeks licensed, private (for profit and nonprofit) childcare providers to deliver comprehensive early care and education services for the 2005-2006 school year to families with at-risk children who are 3 and 4 years old by Saturday, Oct. 1, 2005.

Interested providers should contact Cathrine Floyd, DPS Early Childhood Education Office, at 303-405-8217 with any questions or to request an application.

Completed applications are due to the DPS Early Education Office on Thursday, June 30 (unless a time extension has been requested and approved by the Director of the Early Education Office), and decisions/awards will be made in July for the fall class of 2005.
