Board Of Education Reconvenes Special Meeting At 7:30 P.M. Today (Monday, June 6)
The Board of Education has recessed its special meeting for dinner and will reconvene at 7:30 p.m. today (Monday, June 6) at 900 Grant St., Room 706. No announcement about candidate finalists will be made today.
"I speak for each Board member in saying we are wholly enthusiastic about the quality of superintendent candidates and progress we're making as we search for a new superintendent," said Board of Education President Les Woodward. "We are working closely with our executive search consultant Bill Attea to continue gathering information about candidate qualifications before entering the finalist stage. Because of scheduling conflicts, the Board will continue its consideration of candidates next week."
The Board has scheduled no additional meetings for this week.
Today's agenda items include meeting with the superintendent search firm consultant and discussion of superintendent candidates. The meeting will be closed (personnel).
