Steck Elementary School Hosts International Night April 28

Steck Elementary School invites the community to International Night from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, April 28 at Hill Middle School, 451 Clermont St.

Come experience the sights, sounds and tastes of this wonderful, free event featuring entertainment by: Catur Eka Santi, a Balinese community orchestra; One World Folk Dancers, representing Eastern Europe; the Shaolin Hung Mei Kung Fu Association, performing a lion dance; and international tunes played on the accordion by Ron Tomocik.

"The school population is delightfully diverse both economically and culturally," said principal Charles Raisch.

Steck is an Early Childhood Education (ECE) through fifth grade neighborhood school. It sits in the heart of Denver's Hilltop community. Major cross streets are 6th Ave. and Colorado Blvd. Steck Elementary School is located at 425 Ash St. For information, contact the school at 303-355-7314.
