Pioneer Charter School's Annual Literacy Breakfast April 20, 21
On Wednesday and Thursday, April 20 and 21, Pioneer Charter School will hold its annual Literacy Breakfast.
Parents are invited to observe reading classes from 8 to 8:45 a.m. and then accompany their child to a pancake and juice breakfast. Breakfast will end at 9:30 a.m.
Teachers will reinforce the importance of daily reading, homework, vocabulary development and comprehension.
"The breakfast is a wonderful opportunity for students to 'show off' their many reading skills," said Pioneer Literacy Coach Jennifer LeBlanc.
All children whose parents attend will receive a new book for their home libraries.
