Slavens School "Locks Of Love" Event Monday, April 18
Slavens K-8 School is proud to announce its participation in the "Locks of Love - Cut Your Hair Because You Care" event from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. Monday, April 18.
Volunteer hairdressers will take scissors to the hair of 20 students and five parents who have been growing their hair to donate to "Locks of Love."
This non-profit organization provides hairpieces to financially disadvantaged children suffering from long-term medical hair loss, usually from a condition called alopecia areata.
